The creator of Bee Happy Honey is a thirteen-year-old girl with big hopes to change the world. She is the designer of the Bee Happy Honey logo and the artist behind the t-shirts.
In October of 2007, she viewed two television programs (Nature: Silence of the Bees and 60 Minutes) about Colony Collapse Disorder, and got scared.
In an inspired moment, she declared, "I'm going to make a t-shirt to save the bees." Since then, that has been her mission.

...she has already studied at Parsons School of Design, The Rhode Island School of Design and is a student at the Mill Street Loft.
Her favorite quote is one that she heard and will carry with her for the rest of her life: "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to sing in the rain."
She is helped in her efforts by her mother, a librarian and children's book author.
